<p><strong>NEW YORK, February xx, 2011</strong> — The New York Interconnect (NYI), a partnership between Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE: CVC) and Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast, today announced the ability to offer interactive advertising capabilities to 3.2 million digital subscribers in the New York DMA.  The availability of interactive requests for information (RFI) by a multiple-MSO Interconnect is an industry first, providing advertisers the opportunity to engage with consumers in the largest DMA in the county.</p>
<p>RFI allows advertisers to have an extended brand experience with a consumer by way of overlays on the bottom of a 30-second commercial: a familiar format made more powerful by this interactive capability. For example, a consumer can immediately respond to an ad by clicking his or her remote control in order to request a coupon or special offer, a sample, brochure or DVD. The advertiser is able to have a dialogue with the consumer about its brand and put products into the hands of interested consumers, while taking advantage of measurability provided to them by the MSO.</p>
<p>“Commercial spots that run across the New York Interconnect are now offering viewers an opportunity to engage with a 30-second ad and request more information about products and services,” said Ed Renicker, Executive Vice President and General Manager of NYI. “We have been providing our advertisers with this capability across Cablevision’s service area for some time and have seen great success. Now that the Comcast systems are RFI-enabled, the New York Interconnect is able to provide its clients with the means to achieve a deeper connection with their target audience than the traditional 30-second TV spot.”</p>
<p>Operating as a limited liability company with affiliates of Cablevision and Comcast as its principal members, NYI provides advertisers in the New York DMA with the ability to buy spot television across more than 65 of the most popular cable networks.  Advertisers can target demographic or geographic segment of the households that are reached via the Interconnect’s state-of-the-art fiber optic delivery system.</p>
<p>NYI offers a full breadth of products, from online opportunities including interactive banners, to long-form content with the ability to air two to five minutes of video across Cablevision and Comcast systems utilizing their advanced advertising platforms.</p>

(NYSE: CVC) and Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, have reached a new five-year agreement to continue their partnership involving the New York Interconnect.  By extending the partnership, the New York Interconnect will be poised and ready to take advantage of new technological applications from both companies on a go-forward basis.<strong> </strong></p>
<p>The New York Interconnect (NYI) continues to grow with offerings now including new and innovative interactive products for use by regional advertisers and their agencies.  A full breadth of products are currently being offered from traditional :30 TV ads, online opportunities including interactive banners on Cablevision’s Optimum On-Line and Comcast.net and long form content with the ability to air 2-5 minutes of video across Cablevision and Comcast utilizing their interactive platform elements (i.e., Cablevision’s Market Showcase and Comcast Spotlight’s Searchlight VOD Advertising Platform).</p>

<p><strong>High-Profile Event Presents the Interconnect&#8217;s Programming, Talent and Networks to New York&#8217;s Advertising Community </strong></p>
<p><strong>NEW YORK, Sept. 30 </strong>- The New York Interconnect hosts its first-ever Fall Preview Gala tonight at The Supper Club in New York City. The New York Interconnect, a partnership between Cablevision and Comcast, offers spot advertising on 40 cable networks across the operators&#8217; combined 3.5 million-subscriber New York-area systems.</p>
<p>The high-profile evening, the first of its kind for any interconnect nationwide, is hosted by the New York Interconnect&#8217;s Senior Vice President and General Manager Ed Renicker and Vice President of Sales Denis Coleman. The event highlights the quality and quantity of programming on the New York Interconnect to an audience that includes New York media buyers, media planners and advertisers, along with Cablevision and Comcast executives.</p>
<p>With a focus on the breadth and depth of the Interconnect&#8217;s content, the presentation features segments highlighting genres of programming, including kids and family, lifestyles, movies, news, drama and comedy, sports, and specials. The climax to the evening is a show-stopping performance from special surprise musical guest Cyndi Lauper.</p>
<p>“The spot cable market has exhibited tremendous growth and tonight is a major step toward enhancing our profile in a way that reflects the bottom line success the business has enjoyed,” said Renicker. “Showcasing our diverse programming and networks dramatically illustrates the many compelling options we can provide for advertisers.”</p>
